Calibra Marine International Ltd started in Dartmouth as a Rigging and Sail Loft in 1996.
Two years later it expanded its operations to incorporate the brokerage of second hand boats under Network Yacht Brokers, at the same time representing Fantasi Yachts of Sweden under the division of Calibra International Boat Sales.
The company also included a marine distribution division comprising of Nemo, the Italian mast builders and high quality marine hardware manufacturers; the famous Fob anchors from France and also the distinguished lighting of Cabin, from Denmark.
In September 2002 Calibra Marine International relocated to the Hamble while expanding its portfolio to include New Boat Sales representing a variety of non mass-producers of distinguished yachts – Nordship Yachts of Denmark,
Forgus Yachts of Sweden, Shipman Yachts of Slovenia, Ridas Yachts of Estonia and Island Spirit of South Africa.
At the same time Calibra expanded the marine distribution division to include J Prop of Italy, Solimar Steering Systems and flush deck hatches, Keysaver and Mast products of Holland and Metalstyle of Italy.
The brokerage of second had boats has also expanded to include acting as agents for Holland Yachting UK as well as being the Hamble office of Network Yacht Brokers of course.
